Barbara Ann Ware was born March 28, 1959 in Fargo, ND. She was adopted by Irving and Margaret Swenson. She spent many summers on Rose Lake.

As the daughter of a corporate pilot, she was able to travel to many different states in her younger years. She went to high school in St. Louis, Missouri and graduated from Principia Upper School where she was a cheerleader and on the water ballet team. She moved to lakes country and eventually started working at Gary’s Furniture and Carpeting in Frazee, MN, as an office manager and accountant.

She married Gary Ware on April 24th, 1982. She was a devoted mother, wife, and sister. She enjoyed her grandchildren, sewing, cooking, gardening, and her cats.

She had a love for all animals and was known to take in wounded ones such as a crow, squirrel, and robin; to nurse them back to health. She was a talented artist who loved to paint and draw. She made numerous trips with her family and husband and enjoyed frequenting Puerta Vallarta, Mexico.

She loved a good joke and was known to many for her sense of humor. She was a hardcore Minnesota Vikings fan through all the highs and lows, she bled purple. For those who have ever lost anything, they would have heard the wise words from Barb “Nothing is ever lost in God’s kingdom”.
