Barbara Forrister, age 78, of Adrian, went to be with her Lord, Friday, January 18, 2019. She was born in Jersey City, NJ and had lived in Georgia for many years. Mrs. Forrister was a member of the Garden of Prayer Assembly of God, and a retired house parent at the Georgia Sheriff’s Boys Home.

She served as Boy Scout District Commissioner of Hudson Hamilton Council and was a recipient of the Silver Beaver Award. She was a fantastic cook. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, William Byron Cisco and Marian Diamond Cisco and a sister; Ann Overk.

Survivors include her husband, William James Forrister of Adrian, children; Michael Suss of NJ, Linda (John) Stansfield of Wichita, KS, Stephen (Cathy) Suss of Jacksonville, FL, grandchildren; Jennifer Suss, Emily (Zachary) Severson, Thomas Suss, Lauren Stansfield, Joshua Suss, Rebecca Stansfield, and Taylor (Sabrina) Suss; great grandchild, Paisley Severson, and step great grandchild, Alexis Severson. A graveside service will be held at 11:30 AM Monday, January 21, 2019 at Dublin Memorial Gardens with Rev. Bobby Miller officiating.
