Obituary for Barbara Orrison (Kiehm) Barbara Colleen (Kiehm) Orrison, 89, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, passed away Monday, June 25, 2018, at the Davis Hospice Center. Barbara was born August 10, 1928, in Cheyenne, a daughter of the late Jack and Ella (Fotheringham) Kiehm. Barbara loved music and was an accomplished concert pianist.

She worked as a bookkeeper for Orrison Frontier & Distributing for many years. Her many interests included serving as a member of XJWC, the Dearies, and was affiliated with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She will be remembered as a loving mother, sister, grandmother and friend, and she will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Barbara is survived by her son, Rick (Janet) Orrison; five grandchildren, Rachel Clark, Stephenie Holmes, Mark Holmes, Richard McElroy and Angel Akodu; and seven great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Debra “Dee” Orrison Holmes; and her former husband, Carrol Orrison. A private interment will be held in Beth El Cemetery.

Cremation is under the care of Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home. Donations in Barbara’s memory may be made to the Cheyenne Animal Shelter or a charity of one’s choice.
