OBITUARY Barbara G. Lambert January 8, 1933 – January 6, 2019 Barbara Guitreau Lambert, a native and resident of French Settlement, passed away on Sunday, January 6, 2019, two days shy of her 86th birthday. Barbara was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister, who loved spending time with her family and friends. She was a long-time employee with the Council on Aging, where she enjoyed serving the people of Livingston Parish.

Barbara is survived by her daughter, Katherine Stewart; sons, David and Byron Lambert; grandchildren, Joey Decoteau, Brandon Decoteau, Chad Mosby, Cary Mosby, Lucas Lambert, Dalton Lambert, Stephanie Sterling, Dillon Lambert, Bryan Lambert; 11 great grandchildren; sisters, Ruby Gonzales and Ruthella “Tut” Thibeau. Barbara is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph P. “Pete” Lambert; daughter, Vivian Lambert; infant grandson, AJ Lambert; parents, Elda L. and Ada Aydell Guitreau; siblings, EWthel Guitreau, Luke Guitreau Jr., Alvin Guitreau, Audrey St. Pierre, maternal grandparents, Vincent and Matilda Aydell; paternal grandparents, Andrew and Mirza Guitreau. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 7, 2019 at Ourso Funeral Home of Gonzales from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm.

Visitation will resume on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at St. Joseph Catholic Church of French Settlement from 9:00 am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. To offer condolences to the family, please visit www.
