Barbara J. Acerra, 66, of Toms River, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by the love of her family on Sunday, October 7, 2018. Born in Houston, Texas, she has lived in Monmouth and Ocean County for many years. She worked as a bookkeeper for Rick’s Saddle Shop, Englishtown, NJ.

She was predeceased by her sisters, Patty, Valerie and Georgette. Surviving is her husband of 24 years, Rick Acerra, step son, Cory Acerra and his wife Regina, sister in law, Donna Urmey and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers donations to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 22718, Oklahoma City, Ok, 73123-1718 in Barbara’s memory would be greatly appreciated.

A memorial gathering will be held at the Hoffman Funeral Home, 415 Broadway, Long Branch, on Saturday, October 13th from 1pm until the time of the funeral service at 2:30pm. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Barbara J Acerra please visit our Sympathy Store.
