Barbara’s Obituary Barbara J. (Praeger) Czarnota, 81 of Hanover and formerly of Hingham, passed away on Wednesday January 2, 2019. Born in New York on November 23, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Herbert A. and Florence E. (Owens) Praeger. Barbara was the loving wife of E. Thomas Czarnota for 56 years.

She was the devoted mother of Micheleen J. Bruchowski of Weymouth, Cherie A. Corso and her husband Louis of Pelham, NY, and Thomas S. Czarnota and his wife Shelby of Duxbury. Cherished grandmother of Maximilian Bruchowski, Julia Corso, and Thomas and Cole Czarnota. Loving sister of Patricia Metz and her husband Arthur, Lynn Maloney and her husband Patrick, Lee Greehy and her husband Maurice, all of New York, and the late Richard Praeger and the late Colbert Praeger.

Donations in Barbara memory can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 309 Waverley Oaks Rd, Waltham, MA 02452. Visitation in the Sullivan Funeral Homes, 551 Washington Street, Rte 53, Hanover, on Sunday from 2-4PM. All other services will be private.
