Obituary for Barbara Jean Klein (Klem) Klein, Barbara Barbara Jean Klein, age 81, went home to be with her Lord on Monday, November 5, 2018. She was born February 10, 1937, the daughter of the late Louis Klem and Gale Lancaster. On April 15, 1955 she was united in marriage to William Bernard Klein.

Her two passions were her church and her family. She was a devoted member of the Portage First Reformed Church. She enjoyed singing from the hymnal in the church choir (also serving as secretary) and spending time with her many friends.

She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a loving and faithful woman who was adored by all who crossed her path. During her working career, she worked at Witmark, Century and Tepe’s.

She also spent time working in the local greenhouses. She is survived by her five children, Gregory (Kimberly) Klein, Jill Herzog, Michael Klein, Steve (Jackie) Klein and Tracy Klein. She is also survived by her beloved sister Laverda Bussinger and brother, Richard Klem.

She was adored by her 18 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and her grand fur baby, Dottie. She was preceded in death by her son Mark, husband William, daughter in law, Jeanne and brother, Robert. A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 10, 2018 at 11am at Portage First Reformed Church, 7905 S Westnedge Ave, Portage, MI.

Cremation has taken place. Memorial donations may be sent to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Hospice Care of Southwest MI or Portage First Reformed Church. Please leave a message or a memory for the family at www.
