OBITUARY Barbara Jean (Self) Green October 9, 1933 – September 10, 2018 Barbara Jean Green passed from this earth to heaven on Monday, September 10, 2018 at the age of 84. She passed away very peacefully at her home in Frisco, TX. Barbara was born in Kansas City, MO on October 9, 1933.

She was preceded in death by her parents John L. Self and Eva Marie Self. Barbara is survived by Charles Green, her husband of 68 years, son and daughter-in-law Michael and Linda Green, daughter and son-in-law Cyndy and Matt Crider, grandson Geoffrey {Rachel} Green, grandson Tyler Green, sister and brother-in-law Judy and Everett Strong, niece Christi Toups {Brian}, nephew John Strong {Lisa}, great nieces Hayley Toups, Vanessa and Naomi Strong, great nephews Austin Toups and Tanner Stockton. Son and daughter in the Lord Ned and Kathy Tolliver, as well as many more dear cousins and god-children.

Barbara along with her husband Charles started Word of Faith church in 1953 in New Orleans, LA. The congregation of that church has remained a part of her life until this day. After 57 fruitful years in Louisiana, Charles and Barbara moved to Texas in 2010.

There will be a memorial in New Orleans, LA {Life Gate Church} and in Newark, TX {Eagle Mountain International Church} at a later date. Family and friends are invited to attend the graveside burial at 12 Noon on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at Memorial Gardens in Picayune, MS. The Green family would like to thank their church family and friends for their love and support.
