Barbara Jean Tingley July 28, 1949 – March 13, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Barbara Jean Tingley, 69, of Moline, IL, passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2019, at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House in Bettendorf, IA. Per her wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, March 17th, from 9 a.m. to 12 Noon, at the Riverfront Grille, 4619 – 34th Street Court, Rock Island, IL (formerly Martini’s On The Rock).

Barbara was born in Unionville, MO, July 28, 1949, daughter of Ruben and Leo Nadine (Minear) Tingley. She graduated from Moline High School, and was employed at the Barjan Warehouse in Rock Island, IL, retiring in 2013. Barbara enjoyed playing pool, camp fires, cooking for family and friends, and a cold beer.

Survivors include sisters, Shirley Berg of Loves Park, IL, Maribelle Hoereth of Moline, Anna Dudolski of Neosho, MO, Pat Kinney of Moline, Ruth Tingley of Van Vleck, TX, and Rita Ramirez of Moline; brothers, Richard Tingley of Moline, and Robert Tingley of Rock Island; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Donald Tingley, and a nephew, Jeff Wahl.
