She was born August 26, 1940 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Joseph and Evelyn Plachy. Mrs. Boening worked for Kroger Foods in management.

She was preceded in death by her Husband; Leon Boening, parents and a sister; Frances Lafield. Mrs. Boening is survived by 2 daughters; Debbie Lynn (Bruce) Meyer of Mt. Belvieu, Texas and Tonya Kay (Keith Alvis) Boening of Needville, Texas.

3 sons; Brett Alan (Karina Moreno) Boening of Manvel, Texas; Bart Aaron (Patricia) Boening of Orange Grove, Texas and Douglas Wayne (Michelle) Boening of Manvel, Texas. Also Darrell (Kathy) Rusk of Orange Grove, Texas. 14 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. January 31, 2019 at Dobie Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Sandia Cemetery; Sandia, Texas.
