She was born October 18, 1944 in Sinton, Texas to Carlos and Elisa Garibay. Mrs. Aguilar was a Childhood Development Director working with Headstart.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Oscar Aguilar Jr., 2 brothers; Robert Garibay and Gilbert Garibay and a granddaughter, Nikki Aguilar. Mrs. Aguilar is survived by 2 daughters; Christine (Terry Barnett) Aguilar and Sonia Aguilar; 2 sons; Royel (Lupita) Aguilar and Luis (Melissa) Aguilar; sister; Lydia DeLeon; 2 brothers; Baldemar Garibay and Emilio Garibay; 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. A rosary will be recited 7 p.m. December 26, 2018 at Dobie Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral Mass will celebrated 10 a.m. December 27, 2018 at St. Pius X Mission in Sandia, Texas with interment to follow in Sandia Cemetery. Pallbearers will be, Anthony Rodriguez, D.J. Aguilar, Roy Aguilar, Mark Soliz, Randy Arrisola and Michael Lopez.
