Barbara Lee Georgius, 63, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, October 12, 2018. She was born on May 7, 1955 in Baltimore, Maryland to Charles and Mildred (Hooker) Georgius. Barbara served as ER director at Mt.

Sinai Hospital in Miami Beach, Florida for 10 years. She also served as a 1st Lieutenant in the Reserve Nurse Corps, United States Air Force for 4 years. Barbara retired from Monroe Regional Medical Center after 17 years.

She was a Marion County Master Gardener for over 15 years. She is survived by her loving husband of 29 years, Allan San Martin; son Matthew and his wife Kelsey San Martin; daughter Kelsey San Martin; brother Charles Georgius; and sisters Kathy Pettorrson and Alice Caltrider. A memorial service will be held on Saturday October 20, 2018 at Countryside Funeral Home.

Arrangements are under the care of Countryside Funeral Home, Anthony, Florida.
