Barbara Little Atkins, age 82 of Whiteville, went to her Heavenly home on Friday, March 22, 2019 at the Lower Cape Fear Hospice and Lifecare Center Angle House in Whiteville. She was born July 16,1936 Orville Little and Jewel Kiger Buffkin and the widow of Chares Howell Atkins. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Sherry Reavis.

She is survived by her sister, Jeanette B. Cox and her husband Gary of Whiteville; and a nephew, Ben Cox and his wife, Lisa of Chadbourn. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, March 24, 2019 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with Chaplin David Kelly, Reverend Danny Williams and Reverend Buddy Seay officiating.
