Faye Coleman Sealey, age 73 of Evergreen, slipped into eternity on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at the Lower Cape Fear Hospice Angel House in Whiteville. A native of Columbus County, Faye was born on January 27, 1946 to the late James Earl Coleman and Lee Ellen Potter Bowen Coleman. She was the widow of Captain Carey Wayne Sealey and was also preceded in death by her daughter, Cheryl Faye Cox Barnhill; seven siblings, James Monroe Coleman, Bertha Mae Shipman, Thurman Bowen, Kathleen Williams Bowen, Quincey Coleman, Alfred Bowen and Earlene Coleman Newby.

To cherish her memory, Faye leaves behind her children, Ray Cox (Lynn) Cox of Lumberton, Laura Lee Ann Hebb of Ottawa, Canada, Karen Lorane Sealey of Cerro Gordo, Gena Lynn Sealey (Marcelo) of Marion, SC, Timothy Wayne Sealey (Cindy) of Lumberton; 18 grandchildren, a great-grandchild and 2 step-great-grandchildren. Final rites will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday at Worthington Funeral Home with Reverend Tony Ward officiating. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm Friday at Worthington Funeral Home in Chadbourn.
