She was born July 1, 1933 in Phoenix, Arizona, the daughter of Merrill and Ellen Burreus Westfall. She had worked as a secretary for the United States Government.

She is survived by one daughter Leslie Cox and her husband, Barry, of Prairie Grove and four grandchildren: Kelsey Cox, Ashley Cox, Cameron Cox and Grayson Balding. Private Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home, 3926 Willowood Avenue, Springdale, Arkansas 72762.
