Obituary for Barbara Mae Brown Barbara Mae Brown, age 85 of Hughesville, Maryland, died July 7, 2018 at her residence. Barbara was a homemaker whose life was with her husband, “Brownie”. She was a past member of the Red Hats Society.

In her younger years, she was a telephone company employee. She was the daughter of James Sir Henry Baucom and Mary Elizabeth Stillwell. In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her husband, Raymond “Brownie” Brown and her brother, Richard “Dick” Baucom.

She is survived by her sons, Richard F. Brown (Eileen) and Raymond “Butch” Brown; her daughter, Donna Brown Conley (Robert); her grandchildren, Jenny, Matt, Heather, Ray, Kelly and Shellie; and her great-grandchildren, Makenna, Rory, Alek, Parker, Ryan, and Shane. Friends received on Saturday, July 14, 2018 from 9:30AM until time of Funeral Service at 11AM at Raymond Funeral Service Chapel, 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, Maryland 20646. Interment to follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens, 3221 Mattawoman-Beantown Road, Waldorf, Maryland 20601.
