Obituary for Barbara Poteet Guillory Barbara Poteet Guillory passed away peacefully on December 8, 2018 at the age of 80 years. Beloved wife of the late Merle Lee Guillory. Loving mother of Elizabeth “Sissy” Ducote, Tony Vanover (wife, Brenda), and the late Silas Guillory (wife, Grace).

Also survived by “daughter”, Karen Danna (husband, Chris). Grandmother of Silas Guillory Jr. (wife, Holly), Joseph Ducote, Billy Guillory (wife, Jeanne), Hailey Danna, Joey Tetreau (wife, Rayne), Chris Tetreau and Betty Magee (husband, Tyler). Great-grandmother of Jolie Ducote, Bailee Guillory, Joshua Guillory, Kaden Guillory, Michael Menard, Matthew Tetreau (wife, Abby), Faith Tetreau, Dyeza Phelps, Blake Phelps, Kenzie Tetreau, Cason Magee, Jan Phelps and Coda Magee.

Sister of Marvin Poteet (wife, the late Loretha), Asbith Ann Poteet, Johnny Poteet (wife, Elaine), “Cowboy” Poteet (wife, Jackie), the late Wayne Poteet (wife, Joy) and Betty Miller. Daughter of the late Effie Titsworth Poteet and Silas N. Poteet. Also survived by many other loving relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOMES, 7040 Lapalco Blvd. , Marrero, LA on Saturday, December 15, 2018 from 10am to 1:30pm. Funeral Services will follow.
