Barbra Siperstein November 20, 1942 – February 03, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| View Guest Book Entries| Send Private Condolences Barbra “Babs” Siperstein, 76, of Edison, passed away on February 3, 2019, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. She was born on November 20, 1942, in Jersey City. She resided in Jersey City before moving to Edison 40 years ago.

Barbra was the President/Owner of Siperstein’s Paint store in Fords. She received her BA from Rutgers University and a MBA in Public Accounting from Pace University. Barbra was a member of Temple Beth Mordecai and the President of the Regional Conservative Hebrew School of Northern Middle County.

After many years of dedication, in 2018 she received multiple awards culminating in the passage of the “Babs” Siperstein Law. Barbra is survived by her partner, Dorothy Crouch, of NYC; her daughter, Jana Siperstein-Szucs, and her husband, David, of Woodbridge; two sons, Jeffrey Siperstein , and his wife, Lisa, of Lakeworth, FL and Jared Siperstein of Scotch Plains; five grandchildren: Matthew, Kayla, Jude, Alexander and Sebastian; a sister, Sherry Grosky, of Bridgewater; two nieces, Arianne Grosky and Mara Maguire and her husband, JJ; a grandniece, Rachel; and a grandnephew, Joseph. The family will receive mourners Wednesday, February 6, 2019, at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave.

, Fords, NJ 08863 from 11 am until 12 Noon. Funeral Services will be at the funeral home at 12 Noon. Interment will follow in Beth Israel Cemetery in Woodbridge.

Donations in her name may be made to the Barbra Siperstein Endowed Scholarship at Middle County College.
