Barry C. Johnson, age 70, of Elizabeth, passed away on Thursday, October 18, 2018 at home. He retired as a crane operator for Tube City Iron & Metal in West Mifflin. A former member of Bethesda United Presbyterian Church in Elizabeth, he was a school bus driver with Matthews Bus Garage and a former starter at Butler’s Golf Course.

Born October 17, 1948 in McKeesport, he was a son of the late Kenneth G. and Alice (Hone) Johnson. He is survived by his sons, Brian S. Johnson of Forward Twp. , Barry M. Johnson of Forward Twp.

and Christopher R. Johnson of Las Vegas, NV; grandchildren, Gabriel Molinaro and Madison Johnson; sister, Eileen Stragand of Louisville, KY; and brother, Kenneth E. (Carol) Johnson of Greenock; also, nieces and nephews. Friends will be received in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, Elizabeth on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 from 6-8 PM and Wednesday, October 24, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. A funeral service will take place on Thursday, October 25, 2018 at 10 AM in the funeral home chapel with the Rev.

Walt Pietschmann officiating. Burial will follow in Round Hill Cemetery, Elizabeth Twp.
