ERIC L. HAYWOOD Eric “Rick” “Leggy” Haywood 54 of West Elizabeth, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, October 3, 2018. He was born Eric Louis Haywood on October 21, 1963 in New Eagle, Washington County, Pennsylvania, one of two children of Bernard Louis Haywood and Nancy Jane (McDevitt) Haywood. Rick was a graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School in the West Jefferson Hills School District in 1981 and had worked previously for the Allegheny County Parks Department.

He was preceded in death by both of his parents. His mother being remarried, Nancy Jane Domer, having passed away in May of 2008. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Debra (McClelland) Haywood; his sister Kellie (Bill) Wagner and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

A gathering of friends will take place at the Elrama Sportsmen’s Club in Elrama, Pennsylvania on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at 1 PM with a potluck dinner and a Celebration of his life to follow. His musical talents were much admired not only by family and friends, but also by all who watched him play!
