William Elmer Smith, age 91 of Clairton, passed away on Sunday, November 25, 2018 in Grandview Estates in Elizabeth Twp. Born October 20, 1927 in Floreffe, he was a son of the late Ellsworth F. and Blanche Irene (Keenist) Smith. A member of St. Clare of Assisi Parish in Clairton, William worked as an inspector for Firth Sterling in McKeesport and also on the railroads.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years Louise Agnes (Dwyer) Smith, who passed away May 29, 2014, and his brother Vincent E. Smith. William is survived by his children Donald (Karen) Smith of Elizabeth Twp. and Patricia (George) Tengeres of Ellwood City, his grandson Jonathan Tengeres, and also nieces and nephews.

Funeral arrangements are private at the request of the family. Arrangements by the A.J. Bekavac Funeral Home, Clairton.
