JEFFREY COX Jeffrey Cox, age 30 of Buena Vista in Elizabeth Township, Pennsylvania, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, November 4, 2018. He was born in McKeesport, Pennsylvania on September 9, 1988 one of three children of Robert and Lana (Baxendell) Cox. He grew up in West Mifflin, Pennsylvania and worked for Frank B. Furher Wholesalers as a delivery person.

Jeffrey enjoyed working on cars or more accurately “anything with wheels” and was an avid Jeep enthusiast. He loved being outdoors with family and friends and loved his three dogs, Milo, Rebel and CJ! Jeff was preceded in death by his father and his grandparents, William and Mary Cox and James and Pearl Baxendell.

He is survived by his wife, Erin (Dalton) Cox; mother, Lana; siblings, Greg (Patty) Cox and Kathi (Brian) Rabbitt; nieces and nephews, Aaron, Kylie, Anna, Gary, Carly, Travis and Trent; his father and mother-in-law, Richard and Janine Dalton and brothers-in-law, Gary (Tammy) Popham and Nick (Amanda) Dalton. Friends will be received in the Stephen D. Slater Funeral Home 1701 Route 51 (Large) Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania 15025 (412-384-0350) on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 PM and on Thursday, November 8, 2018 from 1 – 3 and 5 – 8 PM. Jeff’s funeral service will be in the funeral home on Friday, November 9, 2018 at 11 AM with Reverend Robert Titus officiating.

Burial will follow with a procession to Lebanon Church Cemetery. Please drive any Classic Cars or Jeeps in the funeral procession in memory of Jeff.
