George R. Russin, age 65 of Port Vue, passed away on Tuesday, October 30, 2018. Born September 18, 1953 in McKeesport, he was the son of the late George and Violet (Lucki) Russin. An active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Versailles, George also retired from his church as a facility manager.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years Susan (Soltesz) Russin; his five children Matthew (Kelsy) Russin of Clairton, Brian (Gabriela) Russin of Columbia, MD, Dana (Aaron) Steffan of Johnstown, OH, Julie Russin of Glen Burnie, MD, and Eric (Amelia) Russin of Pittsburgh; his eight grandchildren; his sisters Fran (Joe) Vislay of East McKeesport and Kathy Russin of North Versailles; and also nieces and nephews. Friends will be received in the Daniel F. Bekavac Funeral Home and Crematory, Versailles, on Friday, November 2, 2018 from 2 to 8 PM and on Saturday, November 3, 2018 from 9:30 am to 10:30 am. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Versailles, at 11 AM with President Rick Casler officiating.

Procession and burial will follow to Calvary Cemetery, Port Vue.
