Mardale Harris Tremont, age 84, of Forward Twp. , passed away on Monday, November 12, 2018 at Grandview Estates of Elizabeth. She retired as a rural mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service and was a member of St. Isaac Jogues Roman Catholic Church in Jefferson Hills.

Upon retirement, she enjoyed wintering in Florida where she was a member of the Ladies Nine Holers at Kelly Greens in Fort Myers. Born December 27, 1933 in Philippi, WV, she was a daughter of the late William and Gracelyn (Reed) Harris and wife of the late Raymond J. Tremont. She is survived by children, Maryanne (William) VanFossen of Elizabeth Twp.

, Randall (Rita) Tremont of Sarasota, FL and Roger Tremont of Denver, CO; two grandchildren, Maria Tremont Gulley and Zachary Tremont; three great-grandchildren, Kennedy Tremont and Genevieve and Grayson Gulley; sister, Brenda Bartrug of Finleyville; also, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by siblings, Lucile Phillips, Virginia Dickenson, Scotte Manns and Alvin Harris. The family offers special thanks for the extra loving care from the staff at Grandview Estates.

A Memorial Mass will take place on Friday, November 16, 2018 at 10 AM at St. Isaac Jogues Roman Catholic Church in Jefferson Hills with the Rev. Bud Falkenhan officiating. Private burial will follow in Round Hill Cemetery, Elizabeth Twp.
