Obituary for Beatrice Winifred Samen Beatrice Winifred Samen, 92 of Accokeek, Maryland, died May 11, 2018 at the Ft. Washington Hospital. Beatrice was co-owner of Freddie’s Sunoco Auto Repair Shop in Accokeek, Maryland for 45 plus years and the second oldest member of Christ Episcopal Church, where she was always volunteering her time and talent.

She was a member of the Democratic Club and was a master seamstress. She enjoyed working in her flower garden in her earlier years. Her life was working 12 hours a day running her repair shop.

She was the daughter of John Rolls and Nora Rolls. In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her husband, Fred M. Samen; her daughter, Beatrice Samen; and her grandson, Zachary J. Yates. She is survived by her daughter, Anna Yates; her grandchildren, Michael Mock and Bethany Yates; and her great-great grandchildren, Ashley Mock and Michael Mock, Jr. Friends received on Thursday, May 17, 2018 from 5-8PM at Raymond Funeral Chapel.

Funeral Service on Friday, May 18, 2018 at 11AM at Christ Episcopal Church Accokeek. Interment in church cemetery. Memorials are asked to the Accokeek Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad, PO Box 226, Accokeek, Maryland 20607.
