Obituary for Mary R. McDonough Mary R. McDonough (Bootsy), 82, departed this life peacefully on May 10, 2018, at her home in Accokeek, Maryland. Born in Balston, Virginia on October 27, 1934, she was one of six children, daughter to the late Elizabeth and Lewis Dillon. Mary was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who cherished her family and enjoyed reading, dancing, camping, vacationing, and watching her grandchildren play sports.

The most joyous moments in her life were being around family and friends, enjoying life to the fullest. In addition to her parents, Mary is preceded in death by her brothers, Charles and Lewis Dillon and sister Sudie Richardson. Mary leaves, to cherish her memories, her devoted husband of 61 years, Frank E. McDonough; children, Frank S. McDonough (Robin), Lynne Campbell, and Tami Harris (William); grandchildren, Eric, Christian, Trevor, Ayla, Meagan, Kali, and Zack; and sisters, Elizabeth Soper and Joy Schnaebele (Edward).

Viewing will be from 5-8PM on Friday, May 18, 2018, at Christ Church Accokeek, 600 Farmington Road West, Accokeek, Maryland 20607. Service will be held at 11AM with interment immediately following on Saturday, May 19, 2018, also at Christ Church Accokeek. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Christ Church Cemetery Fund, at the address listed above, or to Hospice of the Chesapeake, 90 Ritchie Highway, Pasadena, Maryland 21122 (www.
