Obituary for Lawrence Victor Lucas Lawrence Victor Lucas, age 85 of La Plata, Maryland, died June 20, 2018 at his residence with Hospice. Lawrence was a retired Project Engineer with Verizon, with 45 years of service. He was a veteran of the United States Army and a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Newport, Maryland.

He was the son of Clifton Eugene Lucas and Florence Helen Hooe Lucas. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Amanda Karen Goldey Lucas. Friends received on Friday, June 29, 2018 from 2-4PM and 6-8PM with Prayer Service at 7PM at Raymond Funeral Service Chapel, 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, Maryland 20646.

Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at 11AM at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 11555 St. Mary’s Road, Charlotte Hall, Maryland 20622. Interment with Army Honors at Trinity Memorial Gardens, 3221 Mattawoman-Beantown Road, Waldorf, Maryland 20601.
