Becky Ann Cummings Evans, 82, widow of Robert Lloyd Evans, formerly of Converse St. Greenville, died Sunday, May 12, 2019 at Rainey Hospice House. Born in Martin Township, Anderson, she was the daughter of the late Abner Frank and Sallie Poore Cummings. She was a member of Francis Asbury Methodist Church of Greenville.

She graduated from Honea Path High School in 1954. Surviving are: daughter, Dawn Evans Cox of Honea Path; grandson, Charles Robert “Robbie” Cox of Belton. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Jimmy, Abner, and Rudy Cummings; sisters, Sarah Lull and Mary Ruth “Peg” Singer.

Memorial service will be held 2pm Saturday at Cox Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Peggy Garland officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service Saturday from 1pm until 1:45pm at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Upstate or charity of one’s choice. The family will be at their respective homes. Cox Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
