Mrs. Becky Davis Reavis, 72, of Pfafftown died Monday, February 11, 2019. She was born March 17, 1946 in Surry County, the daughter of the late James Arthur and Mamie Flynn Davis. Mrs. Reavis was a member of East Bend High School, Class of 1964.

She graduated from the National Academy of Hair Styling in Winston-Salem. Becky met the love of her life, David, and they were married April 10, 1966. She retired from Sara Lee, formerly Hanes Hosiery, following 35 years as a seamstress and order clerk.

Becky loved gospel music, traveling, cooking, and enjoyed doing things with and for others. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by eight siblings: John Davis, Ezra Davis, Paul Davis, Freddie Vaye Hobson, Olive Dale Smitherman, Glenn Scott, Foy Scott, and Vernie Mae Kirk. Survivors include her two daughters, Angela Messer of Lewisville and Andrea Reavis of Pfafftown.

She was a very special Mamaw to her granddaughter Aimee Messer. Also surviving are brothers James Davis and Jean of East Bend, George Davis of East Bend; sisters Betty Simmons and Dillard of Mt. Airy, Juanita Key of East Bend; several nieces and nephews; and her dear friend Pat Stewart.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 13th at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home in Lewisville, 6685 Shallowford Road. A funeral service celebrating Becky’s life will be conducted Thursday, February 14th at 10:00 a.m. at Enon Baptist Church in East Bend, 6321 Old US 421, with Pastor Brian Poindexter officiating. Interment will follow at Westlawn Gardens of Memory in Clemmons.

The family requests no flowers, but memorials be considered for Kate B. Reynolds Hospice House, 104 Hospice Lane Winston-Salem, NC 27103. Online condolences may be made at www. hayworth-miller.com.
