Ben M Hall of DeRidder, Louisiana May 1, 1937 – March 4, 2019 Plainview -Funeral service for Ben Hall of Deridder, age 81, will be held on Friday, March 8, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Bethel Baptist Church in the Plainview community. Burial will follow in Oakhill Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Homes. The family will receive visitors on Thursday, March 7, 2019 from 3 p.m. until time of service at Bethel Baptist Church.

Ben Hall was a loving father, brother, grandfather and great grandfather. He is a member of Bethel Baptist Church. He served our country in the United States Army.

He loved to play his guitar and sing with his buddies. Music, family, and friends meant a great deal to him. In his younger days, he enjoyed riding his motorcycle, listening to blue grass music and collecting classic model cars.

Although he didn’t have much, he had a big heart and would help anyone in need. He was loved by his family and friends and will be greatly missed. Those left to cherish Ben’s memory include his two daughters, Brenda Cloud (Ernest) and Betty Slayter (Jerry) both of Glenmora; Beatrice Hall, the love of his life; two sisters, Edith Bragan (Jeris), and Glennis Hollard (Mitchell); three brothers, Melvin, Charles and Calvin; eight grandchildren; and thirty one great grandchildren.

Ben is preceded in death by his parents, Jack Abbott Pinkham and Elsie Pinkham Hall. Pallbearers to serve will be Terry Slayter,Adam Cloud, Justin Miller, Benjamin Miller, Drew Kelly, and Jayce Cashdollar. Honorary pallbearers to serve will be Wesley Byrd, Kirkland Banks, Blake Doyle, James Slayter, Jaylon Slayter, and Alvin Goldberg-Slayter.
