Obituary for Benjamin “Bennie” Davis Benjamin “Bennie” Irwin Davis, 83, died Wednesday, June 6, 2018. A native of Spartanburg County, he was the son of the late Claude I. and Eunice Davis of Lyman and an employee of Springs Industries. He was a past master of Lyman Masonic Irving Southworth #350, a Shriner and a member of Hillbilly Motorcade.

He is survived by his wife, Gail Robertson Davis of home; two daughters, Claudia Gail Shults of Wellford and Johnette Allison of Spartanburg; two granddaughters, Stephanie Atkinson Pearson and husband, David Pearson and Brittany Allison Saunders and husband, Bradley Saunders and two great-grandsons, Robbie and Riley Pearson. Visitation will be held 12:30-1:45 p.m. Saturday, June 16, 2018 at Duncan United Methodist Church followed by a memorial service at 2:00 p.m. conducted by Rev. Bill Quarles and Pastor Ron Towery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Shriner’s Hospital for Children, 950 West Faris Road, Grenville SC 29605 or to Spartanburg Regional Hospice House, 686 Jeff Davis Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29603.
