Mr. Benjamin Matthew Jolly, 41, of Stony Point, passed away Sunday, July 15, 2018 at Gordon Hospice House. Mr. Jolly was born December 6, 1976 in Iredell County, the son of Steve Jolly of Hiddenite and Kay Mecimore Jolly of Stony Point. He was of the Christian faith.

He loved the outdoors, enjoyed life and nature. He was an avid fisherman and loved to go fishing with his dad. He loved his family, and was a kind and compassionate person, who thought of others above himself.

Including his parents, those left to cherish his memory include: two sisters, Beth Jolly Ward and husband, Tony, of Statesville, Kim Jolly Manuel and husband, Jeffrey, of Hiddenite; a brother, Dan Jolly of Statesville; nephews, Jacob Manuel, Joshua Ward, Justin Simmons; nieces, Brianna Ward, Lily Ward and Abriella Ward. Funeral services will be private. Memorials may be made to: Gordon’s Hospice House, 2341 Simonton Road, Statesville, NC 28625.
