Obituary for Benjemin Alan Arnold Benjemin Alan Arnold of Pilot, Virginia, born on July 25, 1982, gained his wings April, 19th 2018. Ben was born in Bristol TN and grew up in Pilot, VA. He attended Auburn High School and was active in football and track.

He was an Eagle Scout and worked at Virginia Tech for about 16 years. He enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with his sons. Ben was a kind and gentle man with a great sense of humor and never met a stranger.

Ben was well loved by all and will be greatly missed, leaving a hole in many hearts. He is preceded in death by: Step father, David E. Gemmell and step mother, Peggy Shaffer. He is survived by wife Amber Elizabeth Marie Davis-Arnold and sons Reese Arnold and Devin Davis, Mother: Patricia Gemmell, Father: Gary Arnold, Brothers: Travis and wife Samantha Arnold, nieces Brooke and Maddison; Justin Arnold and fiancé Gabrielle Davis; Step Brother: Marty Shaffer, In-laws: Haley Glynn, Austin and Hunter Davis.

Grandmother: Carrie Arnold, Aunts and Uncles: Bobby and Linda Arnold, James and Iris Arnold, Phil and Sharon Arnold, Billie Sue Gemmell, Jim and Brenda Gemmell, Dan and Carolyn Gemmell, John and Vicki Gemmell, Charles and Dena Gemmell, Donna and Rubyn Gemmell, Gilmer and Nancy Harless; and many loved cousins from the Arnold, Harless, Gemmell, Shaffer, and Davis families, as well as numerous beloved friends.
