OBITUARY Benny “Jody” Joseph Deason Jr. January 9, 1964 – October 26, 2018 Jody Deason, age 54, of Centreville, AL entered into rest on October 26, 2018 at Bibb Medical Nursing Home. He is survived by his brother in law, Gino Casali of Centreville, AL; his aunts, Faye P. Deason of Evans, GA, Catherine P. Fulford(Bill) of Bay Minette, AL, Laura P. Bolding(Brown) of Randolph, AL, Dickie P. Atchison(David) of Lillian, AL and Betty Burt of Brent, AL. He is preceded in death by his parents, Benny and Doris Deason; sister, Connie Casali.

Jody graduated from Cahawba Christian Academy in 1982 and received special honors and recognition as the first student to attend all 12 years. He was an avid sportsman who loved fishing and deer hunting. He was also a devoted University of Alabama fan and especially enjoyed the football games.

He followed NASCAR racing all his life and attended races all over the Southeast. His favorite NASCAR driver was the late Dale Earnhardt, Sr. Jody was a loving person and loved by all who knew him. He will be greatly missed.
