OBITUARY Rosalie MacMillan September 11, 1930 – November 3, 2018 Rosalie Walker MacMillan entered into rest on November 3, 2018 in St. Martins in the Pine in Birmingham, AL. She was born on Sept. 11, 1930 in Macon, Mississippi to Hugh and Edna Cash Walker.

Rosalie was married to Emmett Howard MacMillan on January 9, 1950 in Lauderdale County, MS. Mr. MacMillan was employed by Mobile Corp of Engineers. In 1963 they built their home in Centreville, AL.

He preceded her in death on April 27, 1985. Rosalie was a Librarian for many years at the Brent/Centreville Library. She was a long time member of Brent Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her only sister, Inez Walker Hurst and brother in law, Raymond L. Hurst. She is survived by her nephew, Howard Alan Hurst and his wife, Bernardette of Louisville, MS; a really good life time childhood friend, Jean Stuart Williams and Uncle Mac’s nephew, Robert McMillan and his wife Ann.
