He is survived by his wife, Carol Ward of McCalla, AL; children, Jeremy Mims(Amanda) of Clanton, Christy Ward of McCalla, Misty Thrasher of PA, Pristy Ward of Haleyville and Nathan Ward of Bessemer; brothers, Johnny Ward of Brookwood and Keith Ward of West Blocton; sisters, Pauline Barker(Chuck) of Vance, Virginia Jackson of Birmingham and Kathy Smigay(Steven) of Arizona; grandchildren, Chase, Britney, Brett, Morgan, Brody, Abigail, Tori and Mesha and 5 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death for R C Ward, Sr., brother, R C Ward, Jr. and sister, Mary Ann Ward.
