Obituary for Bernard F. Skandy Bernard F. Skandy, 60, of Garfield, passed away on Sunday, October 28, 2018. Bernard was born in Lubie, Poland and emigrated to the United States in 1990. He lived in Wallington, then Lodi, settling in Garfield 18 years ago.

Bernard worked as a Machinist for Medilogic Group in Hawthorne for 14 years. He was a parishioner at St. Stanislaus Kostka R.C. Church in Garfield and enjoyed spending time with his cherished grandchildren. He was the beloved husband of Maria J. Skandy, of Garfield, devoted father of Beata Skandy-Spiewak, of Parsippany, and Marlena Skandy-Balik and her husband, Mariusz Balik, of Elmwood Park, loving grandfather of Marcin, Kuba, Alba and Agata, dear brother of Jozef and Joachim Skandy, Elzieta Bombik, of Poland and Dorota Faska, of Germany.
