Graham, Bernard W., Sr. “Bernie” age 101 of Sterling Heights, died on March 21, 2019 at Wm. Beaumont Hospital, Troy. He was born November 9, 1917 in Toledo, Ohio.

He retired in 1977 from the Army Tank Automotive Command (TACOM) and was a member of the Stroke Club of Warren and the St. Anne’s Travel Club for many years. He enjoyed traveling, theater, cards, puzzles, and bingo. He and his late wife, Millie were residents of Warren, MI for almost 40 years and were active members of St. Anne’s before moving in 2004 to Town Village in Sterling Heights.

Bernie is survived by sons: Thomas (Penny) and Timothy Graham, and daughters JoAnn Duke and Mary (Michael) Martin. Proud grandfather of Thomas Graham, Chad Graham, Chris Bellaire, Lori Bellaire, Katie Barry (nee Martin), Josh Martin, Becky Martin and Ben Martin. Also survived by 12 great grandchildren.

He was proceeded in death by his wife, Mildred, son, Bernard Graham Jr., son-in-law Charles Duke, his parents, Daniel and Mary (nee Black) Graham, brother Dan Graham and sister Ruth Gibbons. He always had a story to tell and will be missed by all that knew him. Visitation will be at Wm.

Sullivan and Son Funeral Home, 8459 Hall Rd. (3 blks east of Van Dyke), Utica, Sunday, March 24th from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. He will lie in state Monday, March 25th at 9:30 a.m. until the time of his Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. at St. Jane Frances de Chantal Church, 38750 Ryan Road, Sterling Heights, MI. Burial at Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton Township, MI.
