Obituary for Bernice C. Jackson (Clark) Bernice C. Jackson, 75 of Battle Creek, Michigan, transitioned on December 7, 2018. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Bobby “BJ” Jackson. She was a loving mother of Tamara Nolen-Johnson, Tracy S. Nolen and Toni D. Nolen.

Step-mother to LaShelle D. (Smith) Williams and Charles Hals. The proud grandmother of AreShae Korrin Gumbs (deceased), Amir Jackson Nolen-Shabazz, D‘laiya Gumbs, Charley Williams, CJ Hals and Shanika Hals and two great-grand children. She leaves behind siblings: MacArthur (Melinda) Clark, Roosevelt “Bell” Clark, Evelyn Clark, Otis Clark, Viola Clark, Clinton Clark and Conrad (Terry) Clark.

Preceded in death by parents Vernon Clark and Mary Nesbitt Clark; siblings Noah Clark, Charles Clark and David Clark. Additionally, a host of nieces and nephews survives her. Celebration services to honor her life will be held January 12, 2019 at 1:00 pm.
