OBITUARY Bernice Cannon Brown February 4, 1925 – September 29, 2018 Bernice Cannon Brown, 93, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Saturday, September 29, 2018. A celebration of her life will be held Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at 11:00am in the Chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home with Rev. Robbie Shepherd officiating.

Burial will follow in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 10:00am until the service. Bernice was born in Wilkinson County, Georgia to the late Thomas and Ruby Payne Cannon and was preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie M. Brown; son, Dennis Brown; grandson, Jason Brown; sister, Betty Sue McDaniel; and brother, Bernard Cannon.

She worked as an Inspector for Briggs & Stratton. Bernice was a member of Daystar Church of God, where she was active in the choir and served on several committees. She loved to cook, had a green thumb and enjoyed being a homemaker.

Bernice was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend. Survivors include her children, Bobby Brown and Kathy Jenkins; grandchildren, Tiffany (John) Lewis, Ricky Palancio, Heather Phillips, Lorie Jones, Michelle Snellgrove, Scott (Elizabeth) Brown and Kimberly Brown; ten great grandchildren; brothers, George (Sue) Cannon and Thomas (Jeanine) Cannon; and numerous nieces and nephews.
