OBITUARY Bobby James Freeman April 13, 1944 – November 28, 2018 Bobby James Freeman, 74, passed away on Wednesday, November 28, 2018. A Celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. The family will greet friends from 10:00 a.m. to service time at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with the Pastor Ed Chambliss officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Al Sihah Shriners, Transportation Fund, P.O. Box 3147, Macon GA 31205-3147or donor’s favorite charity. Bobby was born in Macon, Georgia to the late Robert and Marie Allen Freeman.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lanita Freeman, twin sister, Betty Freeman May. Bobby was retired from Georgia Power/Southern Company. He was a member of the Moose Club and was an Eagle Scout who also served on the Advancement Committee.

Bobby began his Masonic journey in Strict Observance Lodge No. 18 in Forsyth by becoming an Entered Apprentice on September 22, 1992. Then a Fellow Craft Mason on November 10, 1992 and he was raised to the sublime degree of Master Mason on February 2, 1993.

Bobby a Shriner of Shriners Intl, he was very active in the Klassic Auto Unit. He had the distinct Honor of having the title of RoadRunner by participating in the transportation of Shrine Children to and from their residence of the Shriners Hospital for Children. He was a member of Mikado Baptist Church.

The family would like to extend a special thanks the staff of Antebellum on Arlington, and Compassus Hospice. He is survived by his brother, Dr. Ronald (Mary) Freeman of Macon, nephews, R. Allen Freeman, Jr. and Dr. Andrew (Lisa) Freeman and numerous great nieces and nephews. His beloved friends, Beverly Young, Blanch Marchman, Patsy Bass, and Luann Duggan Stone.
