OBITUARY Fred Brown September 8, 1919 – November 15, 2018 Fred Brown, 99, passed away on Thursday, November 15, 2018. A graveside service will be held on Monday, November 19, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. with full military honors in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with Darrell Howell officiating. The family will greet friends from 2:00 p.m. to service time at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Jones County Animal Shelter, 1015 Monticello Highway, Gray, GA 31032. Fred was born in Cleburne County, AL to the late Thomas and Georgia Ballard Brown. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betsy A. Brown and his daughter, Ronga Miller.

Fred served and retired from the United States Air Force while serving in World War II. He was retired also from Riverside Ford Automotive as a Mechanic. He is survived by his niece, Melonie Brown (Darrell) Howell of Haddock, son, Mike (Debbie) Brown of KY, six grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and a half-brother, Gene Brown.
