OBITUARY Bernice D Smith March 29, 1924 – September 24, 2018 Bernice Smith, 94, passed away September 24, 2018. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Macon Memorial Park Chapel. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev.

William Rand officiating. The family will greet friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm Friday, September 28, 2018 at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Bernice was born in Bleckley County, Georgia to the late Willie F. Davis and Lois Key Davis.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Elton C. Smith; her daughter, Jeanette King; son, Curtis Smith; and grandson, Michael. She was a member of Southside Community Church. Bernice enjoyed caring for her yards and spending time with family and friends.

She was a devoted loving, mother, grandmother, great -grandmother, great- great grandmother, sister, and aunt. She is survived by daughters, Sandra Carter of Macon, Virginia (Don) Williams of Sanford, FL. ; grandchildren, Deborah, Tina, Jacque, Jennifer, Tammy, Steven, Daniel, Jeffrey, Scott, and Kimberly.
