OBITUARY Billy Perry October 5, 1926 – September 4, 2018 Billy Perry, 91, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, September 4, 2018. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, September 9, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at Pine Forest Baptist Church with the Rev. Lanny Early, Rev.

Jimmy Corbitt and Rev. Morgan Kerr officiating. The family will greet friends from 2:00 p.m. to service time at the church.

Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. Flowers are accepted or donations may be made to Pine Forest Baptist Church, 1848 Tucker Road, Macon GA 31210. Billy was born in Johnson County, GA to the late William Andrew and Gussie Bell Garrett Perry.

He was preceded in death by his wives, Sara Sims Perry and Agnes Almand Perry, brothers, Truett Perry and Hubert Perry, and sister, Elizabeth Herringdine. Billy was a graduate of Lanier High School Class of 1943 and retired from Southern Bell after 40 years of service. He was a member and Past President of the Telephone Pioneers and Past President of CWA Local 3217.

Billy was a member of Pine Forest Baptist Church for more than 65 years. He is survived by his son, Wayne (Rhonda) Perry, daughter, Donna (Larry) Barfield, step-sons, Travis (Kathy) Almand, Charles (Araminta) Almand, grandchildren, Sarah (Thomas) Lynch, Ashby Perry (Josh Thornley), Nicole (Anthony) DeLoach, Trey (Hannah) Barfield, Tensley (Laurie) Almand, great grandchildren, William, Kate, Will, Jake, Ely and Hallie, sisters, Sara (Hoyt) Martin, Margaret Crawford, Jean (Rodney) House, Shirley (Ronald) Rowland and many nieces and nephews.
