OBITUARY Margaret Mary “Peggy” Carswell March 8, 1928 – October 28, 2018 Margaret Mary “Peggy” Carswell, 90, passed away Sunday, October 28, 2018. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday in Riverside Cemetery entering through the North Gate. The Rev.

Bryan Hinson will officiate. The family will greet friends following the service and asks in lieu of flowers donations be made to St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 753 College Street, Macon, GA 31201. Ms. Carswell was born in Macon, Georgia the daughter of the late Mary Head Carswell and Kenneth Edward Carswell.

She graduated from Wesleyan College and taught school in Sarasota, FL and Atlanta having taught at Northside High School. After retiring, she returned to Macon where she sold real estate for McNair Realty. Ms. Carswell was a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, a former member of the Georgia Association of Realtors, and was a former officer of the Macon Women’s Council.

Ms. Carswell is survived several cousins including, Shirley Lancaster of Macon and her daughters, Kathy Eilers (Greg) of Gray and Nancy Irby of Macon; Margaret Duello of Decatur; Julie O’Donnell of Niceville, FL, Carol Keeney of Florida. Visit www. snowscs.com to express tributes.
