OBITUARY Calvin S Lane September 3, 1938 – October 19, 2018 Calvin S. Lane, 80, passed away October 19, 2018. A Graveside service will be held on Monday, October 22, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Gordon Cemetery with Brother Landreau and Brother Grisby officiating. Family will greet friends Sunday, October 21, 2018 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono Ave.

Mr. Lane was born in Jones County, Georgia to the late Clifford Calvin Lane and Janice Mae Jackson. He is preceded in death by two of his sisters, Etha Mae L. Turner and Dot L. Rozier. He was in the United States Army from 1962 to 1964.

He was retired after 40 years of service with Armstrong Industries. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and brother.

Mr. Lane is survived by his wife of 58 years, Betty E. Lane of Macon; son, “Bobby” Calvin Lane of Crawford Co.; daughters, Pam Lane of Durham, NC, Yvonne Davis of Eatonton; grandchildren, Stephen Lane, Brain Dunbar, Brandon Lane, Jason Dunbar, Nicholas Davis, Rachel Baughcum, Zachary Elliot, and Tabitha Davis; great grandchildren, Tristyn, Mylee, Luke, Matthew, and Ryleigh; brothers, David Lane of Jones Co., and Charles Lane of Monticello; sisters, Peggy L. Ridgeway of Gray, and Cheryl L. Garrett of Macon, and several nieces and nephews. Visit www. snowspn.com to express tributes.
