OBITUARY Florence “Flippy” S. Denton September 22, 1920 – October 7, 2018 Florence S. Denton, age 98, died Sunday, October 7, 2018. A Celebration of her life will be held at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, October 11, 2018 at Northminster Presbyterian Church with Dr. Ralph Hawkins officiating. Visitation will follow the service at the church.

Mrs. Denton “Flippy” was preceded in death by her husbands, Frank L. Denton, Jack J. Gautier, and V.J. Adams. Survivors include her son, John J. Gautier of Macon and her daughters, Jennie Stabenow of Chapel Hill, NC and Alice Fincher of Macon; three grandchildren, Doug Fincher (Viju), Jake Fincher, both of Macon, and Elizabeth Stabenow (Jola) of Chapel Hill, NC. Flippy, as she was known by most, was a member of Northminster Presbyterian Church having served as an elder.

She was a member of the Morning Music Club. She enjoyed her bridge club for many years, her garden club, and supper club as well but most importantly she was a devoted and loving Christian wife, mother, and grandmother. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Northminster Presbyterian Church, 565 Wimbish Road, Macon, GA 31210 or the Morning Music Club of Macon, c/o Sandra Wilson, 4657 Twin Oaks Drive, Macon, GA 31210.
