OBITUARY Flauzelle “Frank” Franklin Smith March 31, 1938 – October 15, 2018 Flauzelle Franklin “Frank” Smith passed away October 15, 2018 in Locust Grove, Georgia. A Celebration of Life service will be held Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at 11:00 am at Locust Grove United Methodist Church. The visitation will be held Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at 10:00 am at Locust Grove United Methodist Church.

Burial will be Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at 3:00 pm at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens, Macon, Georgia. Frank was born on March 31, 1938 to Guy Lewis Smith and Mary Aileen Defore-Smith in Macon, Georgia. Frank was of the Methodist faith and served the Lord at Locust Grove United Methodist Church in Locust Grove, Georgia.

He retired from K-Mart Corporation where he worked as the Southeast regional sales manager for the camera and jewelry departments and store manager for 38 years. He was an ordained Presbyterian Elder, a member of the Rotary International and an active member of the Locust Grove United Methodist Church community. He served in the United States Army from 1960 to 1963.

Frank is survived by his wife of 57 years, Janis O. Stinton-Smith; children, Debbie Smith-Byrd, Knoxville, TN, Phillip Smith, McDonough, GA, Michele Smith-Robinson, Indianapolis, IN. ; grandchildren: Robby Byrd, Katie Byrd, Garrett Smith, Kaleb Smith, Kalli Smith, Joshua Robinson and Amber Robinson; and four great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, John Smith of Laurel MD; and his sister, Brenda Thompson of Macon, Georgia.

A loving and devoted first cousin Joy Bowden, and loving fur-baby Bandit. Frank is predeceased by his brothers, Paul Smith, Leroy Smith, and Larry Smith. Please visit www.
