Obituary for Bernice Geanette Stewart Bernice Geanette Stewart, 86 of Nashville, Tennessee passed away on Thursday, November 15, 2018, at Rose Care in Nashville, Tennessee. Born Wednesday, August 3, 1932 in Sparta, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Liff and Arrie Eller Powell. She loved to cook and spend time with her family.

She was very active in the work of the Church. She was a member of Pennington Bend Church of Christ. Survivors include: Melisa Stewart Wood-Daughter of Nashville, TN.

Lori Ann Chilton Holland- foster child of Antioch Lou Vernia Lowery (Alton) Sister- of Sparta Six Grandchildren In addition to her parents, She was preceded in death by her Husband, Gordon Stewart, Five Brothers and One Sister. Funeral Services will held at 1:00PM on Monday, November 19, 2018 at Oak Lawn Funeral Home with Tom Boyette officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Lawn Memorial Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 11AM until time of the service.
