She was born March 24, 1926 in St. Helena, LA and was 92 years of age. She was a retired LPN from LA War Veterans Home in Jackson, LA and also a retired dairy farmer.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Faye Marcus and David, and Kathy Travis; Kim Richard and Ken; 1son, Alan Travis and Avonia; 1 sister, Frances Robbins and Ronnie; 10 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband Wilson Claude Travis; sister, Belle Felker; parents, Preston and Laura Martin. Visitation at First Baptist Church of Arcola from 9:00 a.m until religious services at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 4, 2019.

Services conducted by Rev. Bob Simpson. Interment Woodland Cemetery, Kentwood, LA.
