Bernice Martin Travis March 24, 1926 – January 31, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers View/Sign Guest Book| Send Sympathy Card Bernice Martin Travis A resident of Kentwood, LA, passed away on Thursday, January 31, 2019 at St. Helena Parish Hospital in Greensburg, LA. She was born March 24, 1926 in St. Helena, LA and was 92 years of age. She was a retired LPN from LA War Veterans Home in Jackson, LA and also a retired dairy farmer.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Faye Marcus and David, and Kathy Travis; Kim Richard and Ken; 1son, Alan Travis and Avonia; 1 sister, Frances Robbins and Ronnie; 10 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband Wilson Claude Travis; sister, Belle Felker; parents, Preston and Laura Martin. Visitation at First Baptist Church of Arcola from 9:00 a.m until religious services at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 4, 2019.

Services conducted by Rev. Bob Simpson. Interment Woodland Cemetery, Kentwood, LA.
